There is power in how we represent ourselves each day: a new outfit, a second skin that reveals and shapes our mood or mantra but is also open to interpretation. What does it mean to choose to be feminine? Are we strong, sensitive, empathic, beautiful or all of those combined? Are we trying to turn heads or trying to blend in? Is today the day we climb the mountain of our ambition? Or are we trying to make it through to tomorrow? All these questions have been asked by the authors of our latest story, photographer Danny Millar and stylist Tyra Maalow. Where the clothes we wear may tell the world who we are or want to be today, and though others may try to judge us on our rendering of femininity, what it truly means is for us and us alone.
