Growing up in a vibrant environment that appreciated art and culture, Mansour naturally

gravitated towards the canvas for creativity and storytelling that she found in design. Mansour’s life spanned Switzerland, Lebanon, and later France, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Fashion Design at The Istituto Marangoni. Later in 2010, her fashion house was founded in Beirut.

In 2017, she was awarded the accolade of  ‘International Emerging Designer,’ representing the Middle East at the Buro Fashion Forward Initiative. She has since released eight collections, including bridal wear and a ready-to-wear line. She has dressed a variety of celebrities, including Sarah Jessica Parker and Cleo von Adelsheim to Gigi Hadid and Zoë Pastelle.

Mansour’s fashion house ethos is centred on craftsmanship, elegance and poetic storytelling. “I design for women who appreciate artistry and detail and want to feel empowered and unique. I want my pieces to be a source of confidence and inspiration,” she says.

Mansour’s collections draw influence from art, nature and cultural heritage, forming a confluence of historical references and contemporary aesthetics. She weaves the emotions of different art forms through delicate fabrics that celebrate intricate designs and techniques, such as the hand and needle embroidery she often employs in her pieces. She further explains that, “A great designer is someone who is not only skilled in the craft but also deeply empathetic and intuitive about the needs and desires of their audience. Innovation, attention to detail, and a distinctive voice are key.”

These collections invite women to express the unique essence they each bring to the world, explaining that she is “drawn to the complexity and diversity of female strength and elegance,” adding that, “it's a realm where I feel I can best express my vision.” Bringing this sense of confidence and beauty to her clients, and exercising her own unique essence in the creative process, lies at the root of Mansour’s work. “Seeing an idea evolve from a sketch to a finished piece is profoundly fulfilling. Additionally, the response from women who feel confident and beautiful in my designs is incredibly rewarding,” Mansour reflects.

Reflecting on her career, Mansour remarks on the challenge and thrill of the continual evolution in her creative process: “Navigating through the competitive landscape, establishing a distinct brand identity, and consistently innovating while staying true to my aesthetic have been significant challenges.” These challenges exemplify Mansour’s ability to push new boundaries, which she considers the highlight of her career, embodying the empowerment and uniqueness her brand represents and will continue to represent.

Regarding upcoming projects, Sandra Mansour mentions they are under wraps but assures that she will “continue to build on the foundation of innovation and emotional resonance that defines my work.”
