Roisin Pierce Autumn Winter 2025 Collection. Paris, March, 6th 2025
Stepping into the Embassy of Ireland in Paris, a setting rarely associated with fashion, Róisín Pierce’s Autumn/Winter 2025 presentation felt like entering a world suspended between history and modernity. Nothing Pure Can Stay was a meditation on fragility and endurance, a collection that reimagined traditional Irish craftsmanship with an ethereal yet contemporary sensibility.

Lace, in all its delicate intricacy, became the defining element, cascading across silhouettes with hypnotic movement. From frothy ruffles to precise pintucks, every detail spoke of Pierce’s devotion to textile innovation. Using Irish crochet, powdered silk velvet, and whisper-light tulle, she layered and sculpted fabric to create garments that felt at once weightless and architectural. The collection marked a refinement in her technique — each piece carrying a sharper precision, a more defined interplay between volume and restraint.
Statement accessories played a pivotal role. Handbags, designed in collaboration with Polène, transformed delicate bows and lattice patterns into tactile, sculptural forms, while headpieces created with legendary milliner Stephen Jones added a dreamlike quality. Floating halos adorned with clusters of snowberries and intricate petalled caps furthered the collection’s air of quiet enchantment.
Despite its softness, the collection radiated strength. There was power in its femininity, a deliberate contrast between delicacy and resilience. Pierce’s commitment to sustainability was woven into the narrative, with the use of dead stock textiles and zero-waste techniques reinforcing the idea that beauty and responsibility can coexist seamlessly.
In a season where excess often dominates, Nothing Pure Can Stay offered a different perspective —one rooted in purity, craft, and a reverence for the past. Pierce didn’t just present a collection; she invited us into a world where tradition is not merely preserved but reinterpreted, proving that the most delicate things can also be the most enduring.
