Rochas Autumn Winter 2025 Collection. Paris, March, 5th 2025

Descending the grand staircase of the LCL Banque et Assurance, models didn’t just walk — they arrived. Locking eyes with guests, they turned the runway into an intimate, theatrical experience.

Words by Adam Chan.

For Autumn Winter 2025-26, Rochas channels the legendary soirées of Hélène Rochas, particularly her ball at the Grand Cascade de Bois de Boulogne. “Femme” Le Bal reimagines that opulence for today, blending grandeur with a modern ease.

At the heart of this collection is a tension between structure and fluidity. Tailoring is sharp yet effortless — cinched blazers, cocoon coats, and sweeping skirts move with a quiet confidence. Gold dominates, not just as an accent but as a statement, its burnished glow contrasting deep midnight blues and espresso browns.

Yet, this is no mere nostalgia play. Rochas injects irreverence — bold sculptural earrings catch the light, feather-like embellishments nod to the Maison’s 1934 Bird Dress, and exaggerated 80s silhouettes bring strength and attitude.

The show opened with a look that set the tone: a crinkled gold shirt, luminous like molten metal, tucked into sharply tailored pinstriped trousers. A folded-over waistband added deconstructed ease, while sculptural black bow heels reinforced the collection’s balance of elegance and playfulness.

“Femme” Le Bal is an invitation — one that extends beyond the ballroom. With each look, Rochas reminds us that elegance isn’t just for grand occasions. Sometimes, it descends a staircase, meets your gaze, and claims the moment as its own.
