Nestled along a tranquil pedestrian street in the heart of Athens, Perianth Hotel emerges as an elegant oasis amid the bustling energy of the city. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warm hospitality and graciousness of the staff, setting the tone for an unparalleled experience.

Even before check-in, Perianth's commitment to excellence was evident. They contacted us the day before our arrival to arrange transportation, ensuring we could circumvent a city-wide strike. Such attentive and considerate service ensured a seamless transition into this refined sanctuary. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with Greek wine and sweet treats in our room, providing the perfect start to our Athenian escape.
Perianth Hotel's design artfully blends contemporary sophistication with nods to Hellenic aesthetics, evident in the striking marble entrance and a cascading waterfall ceiling feature. This harmonious interplay of textures and elements creates an ambience of tranquillity, offering a serene respite from the bustling pedestrian street just steps away.
Our Junior Suite, situated on the fourth floor, was a tranquil haven that embodied the hotel's ethos of understated luxury. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathed the room in natural light, illuminating the soothing duck egg blue and grey tones that cultivated a sense of escapism. The spacious accommodations were a masterclass in thoughtful design, from the impeccably appointed en-suite bathroom to the rejuvenating blackout curtains that promised undisturbed slumbers on the plush, cloud-like bed – a welcome relief for those among us who are self-professed insomniacs.
Mornings began with a feast for the senses, where the hotel's culinary offerings celebrated the finest of Greek produce. Each bite of the decadent breakfast fare reinforced the exceptional quality and flavours that make this nation's cuisine so revered. Even a late-night room service ham sandwich proved to be a real treat––a testament to Perianth's commitment to excellence at every point of the customer experience.
Working at the desk with the windows open, accompanied by the gentle sounds of the city, was a serene experience. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the illuminated Acropolis from the private balcony––the pièce de résistance. This view served as a constant reminder of Athens' ancient grandeur and enduring allure.
More than a luxurious respite, Perianth Hotel became a haven during our photography assignment. The accommodating staff graciously opened their doors, allowing the property to serve as a stunning backdrop for our shoot, exemplifying true customer service.
