Could you introduce yourself in a few words?
I’m Mariana Zaragoza, a Mexican 20 year old model that also really enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
How long have you been modeling for?
I’ve been modeling for 6 years already.
Where are you isolating and with who?
I’m at home in Guadalajara, Mexico with my mom, dad and brother.
What is your number one way to pass the time during the quarantine?
Cooking and working out. I’ve been cooking A LOT.
Did you improve your cooking skills? Could you share with us your best recipe?
I definitely did! I have the most amazing healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe!
- 2 cups oat flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1.5 teaspoon of bicarbonate
- 1.5 teaspoon of baking powder
- Dash of salt
- 1 cup of sweetener or sugar replacement (I like monkfruit sweetener)
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp apple sauce
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vainilla
- 3/4 cup dark/ sugar free chocolate chips.
You mix your wet and dry ingredients separately then you combine, add the chips and bake!
What do you do to stay sane?
I try to be positive, see the bright side on being at home and not think too much about the future.
Have you done any new form of isolation shoots?
I’ve done a lot!! A few through FaceTime and Zoom and also some others that I have to shoot myself. It sure has been challenging but I’ve learned a lot.
What is the first place you want to visit once the world opens back up?
NYC.
Do you think the world will ever be the same?
I don’t think so, hopefully we will be more careful and know that we have to take everything seriously or things can get bad.
