Delvaux Spring Summer 2025 collection. Paris, 25th September.
Delvaux’s Spring Summer 2025 presentation at the Hôtel d'Évreux on Place Vendôme was a masterclass in luxury and heritage. The opulent setting perfectly reflected the brand’s storied past and innovative spirit. Walking through the different rooms of the showcase felt like attending a luxurious afternoon tea, where the craftsmanship of the bags took center stage. One standout room featured a monochrome color palette, shoe boxes, and dust bags, all set under a breathtaking chandelier, highlighting Delvaux’s timeless elegance.
Titled “The Collection: A Tale in 5 Acts”, the collection merged Art Nouveau, Surrealism, and cutting-edge technology. Archival pieces like the 'Princesse' handbag showcased the brand’s rich history, while the futuristic Helios project introduced colour-changing bags that epitomised the fusion of tradition and innovation. In collaboration with E Ink, Delvaux has woven cutting-edge technology into its iconic leather craftsmanship. This marks the first time any luxury brand has fully integrated E Ink’s coded ‘paper’ into its designs.
Among the most captivating designs were bags adorned with 3D floral appliqués, where sculpted hands appeared to carry delicate flowers. These pieces exuded creativity while maintaining the functionality Delvaux is known for, with craftsmanship inspired by Belgian architect Victor Horta, featuring bold designs and intricate embroidery.
The event, with its stunning visuals and carefully curated settings, proved that Delvaux is not only a symbol of timeless luxury but also a leader in pushing the boundaries of what a luxury brand can achieve.
