Delvaux Autumn Winter 2025 Collection. Paris, March, 5th 2025

Delvaux’s AW25 presentation was a masterclass in craftsmanship and heritage, seamlessly blending the maison’s rich history with contemporary innovation. Hosted at 19 Place Vendôme, the showcase paid homage to the 1958 Brussels World Expo, a pivotal moment in design and modernity that continues to inspire Delvaux’s creative ethos.

One of the standout elements of the presentation was the new iteration of the Brillant bag, a house icon since its debut in 1958. The level of craftsmanship was nothing short of exquisite — each bag was made entirely of leather, with no extra fabric or lining, highlighting Delvaux’s commitment to unparalleled artisanship. The structure was impeccable, yet the leather maintained a supple, organic quality, embodying a perfect balance between architectural form and tactile luxury. The standout women’s bag featured handles with a sculptural, wavy design, a unique and artful touch that elevated its elegance.

The men’s collection was equally compelling, with Delvaux introducing a fresh perspective on masculine luxury. The new men’s bag exuded quiet sophistication, merging utility with refined aesthetics. The textures, in particular, were a highlight — rich, dimensional leathers that showcased the maison’s expertise in material innovation. These pieces felt effortlessly modern while staying true to Delvaux’s DNA of understated opulence.

Beyond the products, the presentation itself was immersive, drawing visitors into a performative installation where history, art, and craftsmanship intertwined. Saul Steinberg’s mural, The Americans, originally created for the 1958 World Expo, provided a striking backdrop, reinforcing the dialogue between past and present. Guests were encouraged to engage with the space, blurring the lines between observer and participant.

With AW25, Delvaux reaffirmed its position as a true architect of leather. The collection wasn’t just about handbags — it was a testament to heritage, innovation, and the artistry that defines true luxury.
