We stayed in room 233, playfully named "Forbidden," and marked by a glowing neon sign outside that reads "SINNING." But here's the twist: this isn’t just a room – it’s their Signature Apartment, a spacious two-bedroom Deluxe spanning 915 square feet. To put that into perspective, it's larger than many homes in London. The apartment is fully equipped with a kitchen, a dishwasher, and a standout feature – a Billi XL tap that provides chilled or instant boiling water, perfect for tea lovers.
Speaking of tea, the selection offered is refreshingly unique. While English Breakfast is available, more uncommon blends stand out, such as "Earl Green," a delightful mix of Earl Grey with green tea, and "Morning After," a soothing blend of peppermint and Chinese Sencha green tea blend – all from Tuuli Tea.
The décor enhances the experience, featuring two captivating neon artworks of a "Space Girl" in the living room, each glowing with a cosmic allure. The apartment is peppered with artful surprises, like the Seletti x Toiletpaper Lipsticks mirror in one of the bedrooms – a playful yet stylish nod to London's eclectic art scene.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom and TV, while the living room boasts a massive 75-inch screen TV equipped with Google Chromecast and music casting options, in addition to traditional TV channels, perfect for winding down after a day out. The hotel also provides an app that allows guests to control the room’s temperature and TV settings, adding a modern, tech-forward touch to the experience.
The standout feature? A luxurious leather-and-wood wardrobe that fills the air with a faint, pleasant leathery scent – an unexpected but delightful sensory detail that sets the tone for luxury. The bedroom itself guarantees an excellent night’s sleep, offering soft bedding, double-glazed windows, and blackout curtains that shield you from both light and the street noise of Central London.
Even the small step between the kitchen and the living room is thoughtfully designed, featuring a discreet light to guide your way – an example of the hotel’s meticulous attention to detail.
