Attending the AMI Autumn Winter 2025 presentation at Le Grand Colbert felt more like a leisurely Parisian morning than a typical fashion event. Located at 2 rue Vivienne, the historic brasserie set the tone for an experience where the boundaries between guests and models blurred effortlessly. It wasn’t just a presentation; it was an invitation to indulge in the rituals of everyday life — food, conversation, and, of course, impeccable style. Models sat among the attendees, enjoying the same breakfast spread, making it feel less like a showcase and more like an intimate gathering where fashion was simply part of the moment.

The collection itself embodied AMI’s signature ease, with oversized jackets and coats taking centre stage across both menswear and womenswear. Silhouettes felt relaxed yet refined, with raw-cut details adding an artisanal edge to tailored pieces. The reinterpretation of wardrobe classics, such as an untucked poplin shirt with rolled-up sleeves, perfectly captured the effortless nonchalance that defines Parisian style. The colour palette, a balance of soft hues like powder pink and anise alongside deep charcoal, complemented the rich textures of curly shearling, silk satin, and chiné flannel, creating a sense of understated luxury.
Adding to the immersive experience, the breakfast menu mirrored the collection’s effortless refinement. Flaky croissants, pains au chocolat, and airy chouquettes sat alongside a vibrant selection of fresh juices, from apple and carrot to a refreshing cucumber blend. The drinks were just as considered — peach iced tea, ginger ale lemonade, and a warming homemade hot chocolate that felt like a small indulgence. The introduction of new accessories brought another dimension to the collection, particularly the new bags.
